Quick and Easy No Yeast Dinner Rolls

Small Batch No Yeast Dinner Rolls Ingredients: 140g plain flour (1 cup) 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 120ml milk (1/2 cup) 2 TBS mayonnaise Instructions: Preheat he oven to 190*C/375*F gas mark 5. Butter four muffin tin holes really well. Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.  Whisk together the milk and mayonnaise.  Add all at once to the flour mixture and whisk together to combine well.  Divide the batter between the four prepped muffin tin holes. Cinnamon Roll Waffles (Easy & from scratch)

Easy Cinnamon Roll Waffles Ingredients: 140g plain flour (1 cup) 1/4 tsp salt 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 TBS sugar 2 ounces cold butter cut into bits (1/4 cup) 80ml whole milk (1/3 cup) For the cinnamon filling: 2 ounces butter softened (1/4 cup) 3 TBS sugar 1 TBS ground cinnamon (can use less, it all depends on your love of cinnamon) For the glaze: 65g icing sugar (1/2 cup) few drops vanilla milk to thin Instructions: Whisk the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar together in a bowl. Drop in the shortening and cut it into the flour mixture with two knives or a pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add the milk all at once and stur just until the dough forms a ball around the fork. Turn out onto a lightly floured board and knead about 14 times. Roll out to a rectangle about 6 inches wide and 9 inches long, and about 1/3 of an inch thick. Cream together the butter, sugar and ground cinnamon. English Muffins

English Muffins Ingredients: 350g strong bread flour (2 1/2 cups) 1/4 tsp bread machine yeast 1/4 tsp fine sea salt 160ml milk (2/3 cup) 120ml water (1/2 cup) 1 TBS salted butter Instructions: Sift the flour into a large bowl.  Add the yeast on one side of the bowl and the salt on the other. Don't let them touch as salt kills yeast. Mix lightly together. Measure the milk and water into a microwave safe jug. Add the butter. Cook for about 30 seconds in the microwave to melt the butter and slightly warm the milk mixture.  The temperature should be only blood warm.  Take care not to over heat. Holding some of the liquid mixture back, stir it into the dry mixture, adding only enough to give you  a soft dough. It may be a bit sticky, and you may not need it all.  Cover bowl with a sheet of plastic cling film and then cover with a clean tea towel.  Set aside in a warm, draft free place for 12 to 18 hours.  (You can refrigerate the dough after 18 hours if you...

Banana Nut Bread ingredients: 280g plain flour (2 cups) 1 1/2 tsp baking powder pinch salt 120ml vegetable oil (1/2 cup) 195g granulated sugar (1 cup) 2 large free range eggs, lightly beaten 4 medium, very ripe, bananas, peeled and mashed 120g chopped toasted walnuts (1 cup) instructions: Preheat the oven to 180*C/350*F/ gas mark 4.  Butter two 8 X 4 inch non-stick loaf tins. Set aside. Sift the flour, soda and salt together in a bowl. Whisk together the sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla. Stir in the mashed banana combining well together.  Add the flour mixture and  stir together to blend completely.  Stir in the walnuts. Divide the mixture between both of the baking tins.  Smooth the tops.  Place on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of each comes out clean.  Allow to cool in the tins for 10 minutes before tipping out onto a wire rack to finish cooling completely. Butter Rum & Raisin Hot Rolls ingredients: For the rolls: 140g or 1 cup plain flour (280g or 2 cups) 2 tsp baking powder (4 tsp) 1/4 tsp salt (1/2 tsp) 30g or 1/8 cup cold butter (60g or 1/4 cup) 70ml or 1/3 cup) milk (140ml or 2/3 cup) softened butter to spread (be generous) 100g or 1/2 cup soft light brown sugar (200g or 1 cup) 50g or 1/3 cup sultana raisins (100g or 2/3 cup) For the Sauce: 30g or 1/8 cup butter (60g or 1/4 cup) 75g or 1/3 cup soft light brown sugar (150g or 3/4 cup) 60ml or 1/4 cup heavy cream (120ml or 1/2 cup) 1/2 tsp rum extract (1 tsp) instructions: Preheat the oven to 200*C/400*F/ gas mark 4. Banana Loaf  ingredients: 60g butter softened (1/4 cup) 70g granulated sugar (1/3 cup) 1 large free range egg 125g mashed banana (1/2 cup) 2 TBS sour milk (see note) 175g plain flour (1 1/4 cups) 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp of salt handful of toasted chopped walnuts (optional) instructions: Preheat the oven to 180*C/350*F/ gas mark 4.  Butter a small loaf tin (7-1/2 by 3-3/4 by 2-1/8 inch) and line with some baking paper. Cream the butter and sugar together in a bowl, then beat in the egg, banana and sour milk. Whisk the flour, soda and salt together.  Add to the creamed mixture stirring just to combine.  It is okay and preferable for the batter to be a bit lumpy. Stir in walnuts if using. (You could also use chocolate chips.) Spoon into the prepared loaf tin. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean and it is well risen and golden brown. Cheesy Garlic Bread

Cheesy garlic Bread ingredients: 1 thick slice of French or Italian bread 2 tsp softened salted butter 1/2 tsp minced garlic 1/2 tsp dried flat leaf parsley 2 TBS grated mozzarella cheese 2 TBS grated cheddar cheese 1/2 TBS freshly grated Parmsan cheese instructions: Preheat the grill to high.  Line a baking tray with aluminium foil.  Place the bread onto the tray. Stir together the butter, half of the parsley and garlic to combine well. Spread it evenly over the slice of bread.  Mix together all of the cheeses and sprinkle them evenly over top of the buttered bread. Pop the bread under the heated grill and toast until the cheese has melted and turned golden brown in spots.
